ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL MUSIC THERAPISTS

The Association of Professional Music Therapists (APMT),  founded by members of the  BSMT in 1976, is the organisation in the UK for qualified music therapists.  It aims to look after professional matters concerning pay and conditions, standards of clinical practice and promotion of music therapy information.  In provides an information exchange for working music therapists and provides information on statistics, music therapy as a career and other aspects of music therapy in the UK.   The APMT now share the BSMT's new premises.
